In March Liz spent the day with Amy at the new Loving Humanity workshop in Bath. At the workshop the sanitary towel machines are assembled, tested and then shipped out as ‘Micro Factories’ to refugee camps in Jordan and the slum areas in Africa and India.
Liz learned how to easy it was to make a sanitary towel using one of the machines and then helped package them up in the new Loving Humanity branded bio-degradable wrapping.
Amy’s work is making such a difference to women and girls living in horrific conditions by providing essential products that we take for granted. Her work not only restores dignity, but crucially ensures that girls stay in education.
