Un Aiuto per la Vita in Italy moves to larger premises.

July 25, 2017

Un Aiuto per la Vita, (translates to English as“An Aid for Life”) is the community centre in Italy which is fully funded and supported by LiveTwice.

Over the past six years this wonderful project has gone from strength to strength and has become such a popular focal point in the community that towards the end of 2016 Julia and Giuseppe, the project leaders, realised the centre had outgrown it’s current premises. Click here to read more about here the centre.

Unable to find anywhere big enough in the centre of town, they found a new building just outside above a new supermarket. In early 2017 they took possession of the new property and spent the Spring working alongside local volunteers and friends decorating and refurbishing the property ready to welcome visitors through the doors.  The centre is now open and thriving and with a new addition of it’s own little kitchen is able to provide simple meals.  Liz and Patrick Drummond visited the newly opened centre in May and were really delighted to see the progress that had been made with this amazing facility which provides for those in need in the community.
