Noah’s House

October 31, 2018

We’ve recently had a lovely update from Suzanne who runs Noah’s House, the first project founded by LiveTwice in 2010. Suzanne and her team provide respite care within a home environment to disabled children and young adults in Dorset, Wiltshire and Somerset and is a world away from institutional care.

It has been a busy year for Noah’s house and Suzanne has enabled the children and young people she cares to enjoy some wonderful experiences in 2018 including visits to Upton Country Park and the beautiful gardens at Stourhead.  The more adventurous have had a chance to go Kayaking in Studland, go to the adventure playground and meet Dippy the Dinosaur!  Time spent at home at Noah’s house is action packed and the days are filled with arts and crafts, baking, gardening and dressing up and of course like every other young person a little time is spent playing games on the computer.

The visitors who spend time at Noah’s House love their time with Suzanne, she provides a safe and happy environment to explore many activities and experiences not always available to them. The facility also offers much needed rest and respite to family who look after and care for the children 24 hours a day. We all at LiveTwice can’t thank Suzanne enough for all she does, she and her family dedicate their lives to Noah’s House and all her visitors. Thank you for helping us to support Suzanne and her team.
